“True Spirituality: A Relationship, Not a Ritual”
So many people today are searching for meaning. They explore philosophy, mysticism, and even religion—hoping to find something that gives peace to the soul and purpose to the heart. They talk about “spirituality” like it’s a feeling or a personal journey. But I want to tell you today: true spirituality is not about feelings—it’s about a relationship. A relationship with the living God.
God created you not to wander in spiritual confusion, but to walk in truth. The Bible says, “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). That means we are not just flesh and blood—we are spiritual beings made to know our Creator.
But something happened. That relationship with God was broken by sin. Sin separates us from God. It clouds our spiritual vision and hardens our hearts. The Scriptures declare, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). You can’t pray enough, meditate enough, or do enough good works to bridge that gap on your own.
This is where Jesus Christ comes in.
Jesus didn’t come to start another religion—He came to restore your soul and reconnect you to God. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). That’s not arrogance; that’s truth. The kind of truth that can save you.
You see, real spirituality begins when you surrender—not to a force, not to an idea, but to a Savior. When you receive Christ by faith, the Holy Spirit comes to live in you. He changes your desires. He gives you strength. He gives you peace in the storm and hope beyond the grave.
Let me ask you: do you have that peace? Do you know that your soul is right with God?
If not, you can settle it right now. Wherever you are, you can pray and say, “Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner. I believe You died for me and rose again. I invite You into my heart. Forgive me. Change me. Be my Lord and Savior.”
That’s not just a prayer. That’s the beginning of true spirituality—a new life in Christ.
And I tell you on the authority of God’s Word: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
That is spirituality. That is salvation. And that is the greatest decision you will ever make.
